Where do I start?
Step 2:
Next step is to book an initial meeting. We will send out an initial questionnaire for you to complete and return prior to the meeting.
Step 3:
The initial meeting is at our cost (excluding aged care queries). It will give us an opportunity to meet face to face and decide if we can provide any meaningful advice to you (only general advice is discussed at the initial meeting).
Step 4:
Assuming we both believe we can add value through advice we will then prepare a Terms of Engagement Letter agreeing on the scope of work to be done and the fee to be charged. More detailed financial information will be sourced then the Statement of Advice will be prepared.
Step 5:
Once the Statement of Advice has been prepared it will be presented to you and if you are fully understanding of it and happy with the advice it will be signed off and them we will implement it.
The timeframe for the full process will vary depending upon the urgency of the advice (eg Aged Care can be urgent) and the time involved getting the full financial picture from other professionals (eg accountants, super funds etc).
